For The City: Brunson League Partners With Wooter Apparel For 2018 Pro-Am Season

After collaborating on a jersey in 2017 with the Brunson League, Wooter Apparel has been named the official uniform partner for the upcoming 2018 Brunson League season.
Don't look now, but the Brunson League in Baltimore has emerged as one of the premiere Pro-Ams of summer basketball alongside the Drew League (Los Angeles), the Goodman League (Washington DC), and Seattle's Pro-Am.
It's for the love of Baltimore City. It's for the love of basketball and the community.
Created by Morgan State grad Sean Brunson in 2013, the last five years has seen the Brunson League transform from a competitive local offseason league for basketball players rooted in Maryland to packing out area gyms like the UA House at Fayette Street in East Baltimore for the Brunson League championship game. Regardless if a younger player is developing, a local college athlete is putting work in, or NBA and overseas pros are looking to show out before their respective seasons start-up, the Brunson League is one of the best kept secrets in all of basketball.
It's part of what makes Wooter Apparel and the Brunson League a natural fit, as the two sides came together in January to announce Wooter would become the official uniform partner of the Brunson League beginning in 2018, while also revealing a first look at the jersey collaboration, (tremendous photo work by Reginald Thomas II as well).
“This partnership between two companies with a true passion for sports, innovation, and community impact is a perfect match,” Brunson League founder and commissioner Sean Brunson said of teaming with Wooter.
“Wooter Apparel will be significant in our endeavor to become the #1 summer Pro-Am in the world as we continue to do things that no other Pro-Am summer league has ever done before.”
This marks the second occasion where the Brunson League has partnered with Wooter. Last summer, Wooter provided the Brunson League with its uniforms worn by a select team who competed in the DC games against the Goodman League in Washington DC and the PITTS League in New York.
"It means a lot to compete against the best players in Baltimore and DC and play at a high level, week in and week out. For us, growing as players and giving back is what's most important," said Baltimore native, Antonio Myers, who was part of the select team for the Brunson League.
Like many players, Myers played college basketball (Troy University) and has competed professionally overseas (Germany) and semi-professionally with the ABA's Baltimore Blackhawks and eagerly looks forward to working hard during the summer with the Brunson League, while showing love for the same community he grew up in Baltimore.
"The Brunson League has changed for the better since first starting out...overseas pros, NBA guys...the talent and competition just continues to grow each summer. Guys love playing against the best of the best and are already training for the league this summer."
Now, along with teams like Protect The Family (PTF) led by Baltimore native and NBA shooting guard Will Barton, and 2017 Brunson League champs, Sam's Ballers, wearing branded Wooter uniforms, the league will also feature a digital platform where players, coaches, and fans can access updated Brunson League stats, standings, video, highlights and more through the Wooter App.
